We counted 29 species of birds from the front porch and watched the lightning beetles in the field across the road. It was magical. »

After we backtracked and followed the written directions, we arrived! The driveway was washed out in spots, which made traversing in our car a bit difficult. We took it slow and steady and made it. « The location of the cabin was fantastic! It’s close to some great hiking and the privacy, peace, and quiet were phenomenal. It was so nice sitting on the deck, listening to the birds—very zen. Also loved watching the turtles on the property; had to herd them off the road on our return to the cabin one time, lol!
