« We loved our stay at the cottage! The layout, the two living areas and the well appointed kitchen made our 4 night stay very comfortable... the tea and coffee bar and the towel warmer!! All the beds were super comfortable too. We especially enjoyed the back of the property with the "swing house", axe throwing, and big fire pit!We would definitely love to stay again! »

« Owner allowed us to enter an hour early, which was greatly appreciated as we had driven 6 hours from Jersey. The place was simple but had all we needed for a stop in the road trip. The dogs were educated by the new smells of animals like goats, chickens, turkeys and cows, pretty funny. Just too bad the pool cover was still on, as it was quite hot for mid April. »

« Suzanne was great very accommodating. Beautiful house with a wonderful view of the mountains and valley. The sunrise and sunset was beautiful. She let the kids give the horses a treat which they absolutely loved. We will be back. Would give 6 stars if I could! »

« We really enjoyed the three nights we spent at this property. We initially ran into some issues with VRBO, but the host, John, was very kind and accommodating. Updated interior photos of the cottage would serve to benefit the listing. I'd say the current photos do not show the full scope of the space or amenities. A large window in the main room provides gorgeous views of Smith Mountain Lake, accompanied by tall ceilings in the room. There is also a coffee maker in the kitchen, which was...

« One of my favorite Vrbo rentals so far! The property was very clean and incredibly cozy. The view from the property is also stunning, you overlook a field of apple trees and at night you have a great view of the sky. Would definitely recommend folks stay here! »
