« We rented what is described as a Cozy Cabin in a “Resort” on Lake Tansi. It was, in fact, what I would describe as a 1950’s Grade B family vacation “resort.” I’m sure that in by-gone days it was considered pretty nice but too many years, too much MILDEW and insufficient maintenance/renovation have taken their toll.We had to have the toilet reset the day we arrived because it leaked and wet the floor, the towels were insufficient and sleeping 6 people in this “cabin” was a big stretch. « This was my first booking using this site!I want to start with positives first. Check in was very easy and helpful. The place itself was very clean. I checked mattresses etc and everything was good. I did bring my own comforters and pillows just because the age of the bedding and I always bring pillows anyway. They had plenty of towels and toilet paper etc so we didn’t need any extras. Now the cons,This is not lake front like I was thinking. It also is not a solo cabin it is multiple duplex...

The property was comfortable, centrally located for our weekend, access off highways was simple, check-out was easy and straight forward. We will return if needed for future visits with family living in west Knoxville. »
