« The cabin is so well designed and the surrounding property is beautiful. I loved being able to relax outside with a fire at night and coffee in the morning. I was really impressed with the little extras like the s’mores kit, snacks and kitchen supplies, very thoughtful. No complaints, would definitely stay again. »

« Beautiful and unique property nestled in trees surrounded by quiet garden . We were in town attending a family wedding in a town over. Plenty of cozy sitting options inside and outside with nice fireplace . Loved morning walks with our granddaughter and with our miniature Aussie. Host responded promptly with any questions and concerns . We ate mostly at the home but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Memorable visit for our family. Loved our trip! »

« Beautiful property and house. The farm was immaculate as was the house. I really enjoyed the pups and kitties! Not so secluded, lots of activity keeping the farm running, a rental downstairs and two occupied tiny homes within a few feet. Also 3 stars for all the Amazon deliveries. I was ok with it on the second day but this continued for all 5 days. Delivery every day, then the owner would come by to pick up all the packages. Just daily interruptions you don't necessarily plan for. Overall,...

« Wow! The sweet, quaint cabin floored us. It was more than we expected, but we are grateful to have experienced something better. We came expecting to have fun and left thinking we must come back for the whole weekend. There is not one complaint we can list. Thanks to Hodgin Valley Farm for providing two old folks with a special 65th birthday celebration. In the voice of Arnold, "We'll be back!" »

« Property was great, location ten minutes from Ramp on Hi-Rock. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for off lake peace and quite still close enough to launch and go easily at Tamarac. »

« We were in town to move our daughter to Winston-Salem. It was nice to have coffee there for our early morning departure. There was not a lot to cook with, so I was glad we were eating out. The shower water is opposite of what I’m used to. Cold was all the way to the left and hot to the right. Just FYI. »

« The area is remote enough to be quiet and peaceful but not so remote as to be a hassle. This is the most well-kept cabin interior I've visited yet, so kudos! Plenty of provisions such as food, water, coffee, and camping gear are available. The shower is outdoors and could use more pressure but it's not bad. The host is very communicative and will ask if you are finding everything all right. My only criticism is that the outdoor grill and grill brush need to be cleaned of spider webs, but that's...

« My husband and I came up for a weekend get away from the busy every day city lifestyle of work and 5 kids. We were pleasantly surprised, to find the store filled with all natural goodness in which we used for breakfast and dinner each day.
