« We had a wonderful stay at this property. My daughter/husband set up this weekend away for my birthday and it couldn't have worked out better. The fireplaces were cozy in the evening and great for sitting by with our morning coffee. We enjoyed playing games on the screened in porch. Even though it was a little chilly, the fireplace and blankets made it comfy. The sauna was a nice treat also. The selection of coffee mugs made us smile!! « The cottage was very comfortable, and you can't beat the view. My husband and I enjoyed relaxing and looking out at the water, and the sunsets were beautiful. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the entire place was well appointed with everything you need for a short-term stay. The owner is extremely friendly and responsive, and quick to make suggestions for local places you might want to check out. « The house was perfect for our stay, and we loved it. Very convenient location to downtown and the finish area of Historic Bridge Marathon. We appreciated the cleanliness of the house, lots of pillows, blankets towels - if needed. Beds were comfortable. Loved the history of 1850 T. Blade house. Although the furniture suited the era, a couple of pieces should be replaced or restored. I saw previous reviews for concerns of floorboard safety in upstairs bedroom, again realizing it's an 1850 house....

« We have stayed at several properties in this area since we have family close by. This was truly our favorite and we will be back. It was spacious, clean and seemed like it had been very recently remodeled. It was decorated very nicely and perfect for the location, my Mom even questioned if it had been professionally done. We had one internet glitch and the host responded immediately. Very convenient area with lots of amenities close by. »
