« We booked Gooseberry Lodge last minute for our family of 5. The cabin was perfectly sized for two adults and three children. We spent most of our time on the expansive dock and enjoyed dinner sunsets from the back deck. The mooring buoy made it easy to stop back at the house for lunch while out tubing on the lake. « Absolutely beautiful, clean cottage! It was a perfect getaway for me and my husband. Our 2 night stay wasn't long enough! We loved how close the beach was, and how we could see the water from the bonfire pit and the house. You get to enjoy a beautiful sunrise and sunset and stargazing on the beach on the clear nights. It's amazing how many stars you can see. We didn't get to see any freighters the few days we were there, but on the last foggy morning we could hear the fog horns blow as they went...

« This place was perfect for our little family of 4. It is right on the water and my kids really enjoyed swimming and playing on the dock. The marina is just a few minute walk from the cottage. We were able to walk there for ice-cream and fishing (we of course asked the people that worked there for permission and went after they were closed).The host/owners are so kind they brought treats for the kiddos and even lend bikes to my kids to use while we were there. Thank you so much, we had a blast! »
