« This was an amazing place to just sit on the porch and relax. It was so homey and comfortable. It rained a good bit during our stay so hearing that on the metal roof was perfect. We enjoyed it immensely. You really don’t need to bring anything other than food and clothes. It is very well stocked with everything you need. Although you are up in the mountains away from everything, Hendersonville is 10 minutes away, with groceries and restaurants being even closer. Enjoy. »

« Room was very nice, shower was excellent. There was a little miscommunication on the checking procedure, but that was corrected. The food at the restaurant was excellent as well. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. »

« Upon arrival we had to walk the lodge to find someone to assist us with checking in. After the person we found made a call to find out where our room key was, we had to drive back to the gate house to pick them up. Our room was changed to a king, which was fine. However, there was a space heater going when we arrived and it had to stay on overnight due to being cold in the room. The water in the shower never heated up past luke warm. « We had a very enjoyable stay at this property. The house has plenty of room and was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was awesome and well stocked. The views off the back deck were amazing! Misty mountains in the mornings and beautiful sunsets in the evenings. We did a couple of great hikes in the Pisgah National Forest and walked the new Ecusta Trail also.
