« Came for the view, and didn't disappoint! The house was clean and comfortable. We swam and fished off the dock. The only drawback was lack of some back was the lack of some kitchen equipment. »

« This was a really neat place for our family to stay and enjoy SML. It had everything we needed and made for some great memories. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again! »

« Cute place. It’s half of a duplex. Furnishings are nice. Bath is small but nice. No counter space tho. Bathroom door is a barn door style…little privacy. Kitchen has everything you need but there are no cabinets…just shelves. Dishes and glasses were in a basket. Not what you might expect. Keurig coffee maker…brought my own pods luckily TV and WiFi work great. Didn’t use the hot tub…its placement just outside of the entryway is odd, but makes a little more sense when you see it. « We absolutely loved staying at this charming cottage. The house was very clean, well organized, and tastefully decorated. We were visiting Lynchburg to move our daughter into college, and having such a great, welcoming and comfortable place to stay made that journey much easier to get through. We look forward to staying here again when we come back to visit! Go Flames! »

« The outdoor property is very pretty, about 10 acres, lawn kept, I would see deer there every other day. The house is older and is need of updates, but it suited my needs. The house has no central air, but the 3 window units kept it cool enough, though it necessitated the use of a fan to keep the bathroom floor from getting slick when weather was very humid outside. The host, Claudia was very nice and always communicates promptly. »

« My husband and I stayed for a few days between Christmas and New Years. Although the weather was not ideal, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation! The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking the delicious local produce, and the bathroom was luxurious. « We travel throughout the summer looking for new areas to boat, and by far - our new favorite lake is SML. The place we stayed was excellent for our needs and our boating life. If we could give this place more than 5 stars, we would. »

« We had a great stay, nothing to complain about. The place was clean, well stocked kitchen (everything worked), comfy beds and very accommodating! We enjoyed some of the games/puzzles. Kayaks were fun. My only suggestion to owner/property manager is PLEASE remove the invasive vines covering the trees before it kills them. « The cabin was very cute, it is really for people who are younger and wants to camp out. For us it was not a good fit. It was discribed as a two room but it’s really only one room with a loft for sleeping. The water pressure is very low and the electric kept going out. My dad has a C-pac so we had to leave and find somewhere else to stay. »
