« Beautiful, ristic and close to the water...just what I wanted for me and my dog! »

« I was surprised it was close to the road but Penobscot quiets down about 8pm so road noise was not an issue. It was a lovely house to stay in.Very comfortable. Easy to get from there to Castine, Blue Hill, Deer Isle. The walk down to the beach is lovely and the views across the Bay are always interesting as the tide comes in and out. »

« This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. »

« The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia. »

« The house is located in downtown Lincoln, close to shops, food, the lake, and anything else you require for your stay. The house itself is very well appointed and clean; the host went above and beyond to make this a great vacation rental, that really feels like a home. The house has everything you need, really everything has been thought of, I cannot overstate how well this property is set up for a vacation rental. I plan on booking this rental again for our trip to Maine next season. I highly...
