« This was the perfect getaway, quiet, beautiful and super comfortable. Norma, one of the proprietors, was around to just have a nice chat with which was very nice. The "lobby" was so charming. You felt like you were coming home yet still on a getaway. We can't wait to return! »

« Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely hosts with horses and sheep. Similar interests in spinning and knitting. Denise teaches spinning so if you want to try your hand, she has extra wheels. Only negative for us oldies- bedrooms upstairs and bathrooms down with having to navigate steep narrow steps. »

« We had a lovely stay. The room is very comfortable and we enjoyed the pool, a bit like a spa, at the end or beginning of the days. Norma and her sons were very nice. Nous le recommandons! « The property was very nice however the furnishings were sparse.....no dressers or drawers in the bedrooms so only have the nightstands to place your items on; very thin drapes if there are drapes as many windows do not have any drapes at all and the sun comes in quite bright at 5am and throughout the mornings at this time of year; no towel rods in the bathrooms....only a few hooks; no microwave which was noted by another reviewer as well. « It is a great location and the upstairs bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Our contacts were with the owner’s sister. She was eager to please. We left early because the house was not ready to rent in our opinion. If you choose to rent this house bring your own water for cooking and drinking. The kitchen is not set up for cooking. The oven ran extremely hot. One stove top burner was completely burned out, the others very dirty. Seating is uncomfortable either on wood chairs in the kitchen or the...
