« Absolutely stunning views, super quiet setting, enjoyed the garden. Wish we had bright paddle boards and kayaks. We did not- failed! The weather was fabulous end of September and the water was not too cold. We had 7 adults and 2 dogs, everyone was very comfortable and had a nice weekend. « This was a beautiful weekend getaway. My wife and I had a lovely time relaxing before we welcomed our second child. The house is a small quaint cottage, and we loved waking up to the sunrise and birds chirping. Between hammocks, kayaks, a firepit, and just sitting and watching nature it was a beautifully relaxing spot in basically a private nature preserve.Also the hosts provided a thorough document with what to bring, and places to visit/experience in the area.The attraction of the area is the...

Perfect for us since we love visiting Kilmarnock, Irvington and White Stone restaurants etc. Nice set up...extremely quiet and right on the water. « The Jazzy 6 loved the accommo- dations and the kitchen was great. Stocked with seasonings, coffee and tea. Marykim was a wonderful hostess. She had our golf cart delivered to Idol Hour and our Smith Island Strawberry cake was in the refrigerator waiting for us. We loved Idol Hour and would stay again. « We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay at the little blue house. It is well furnished with a completely equipped kitchen. Peaceful water views. Quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds. Easy access to White Stone, Kilmarnock and Urbanna. We took advantage of getting take out at The River Market in White Stone and Something Different in Urbanna. Forrest was VERY responsive. All in all….a great stay. »

« Waking up to the rising sun on the Bay was spectacular. So peaceful and rejuvenating. Make sure you checkout out Calvert Cliffs State Park too. You’ll get a workout on the multiple trails and a beautiful shoreline at the end to find some natural treasures!! Sunshine Cottage was well equipped and clean as a whistle.
