« Our stay was wonderful. Cottage is beautiful and so close to the ocean. The view from the screened porch was breathtaking. I was very impressed how clean and organized the cottage was. Anything we needed was there plus extra touches: s'mores kit, popcorn etc. I can go on and on. Communication with the manager was great, response to any questions were answered immediately. All of this together made the most pleasurable stay. I highly recommend renting this property. Edyta »

« Waking up to the rising sun on the Bay was spectacular. So peaceful and rejuvenating. Make sure you checkout out Calvert Cliffs State Park too. You’ll get a workout on the multiple trails and a beautiful shoreline at the end to find some natural treasures!! Sunshine Cottage was well equipped and clean as a whistle. « We absolutely loved our stay on Smith island in this adorable cottage. Laura the host was very responsive, friendly and helpful. Being first timers to the island, I had several questions that were answered very quickly. The cottage was clean, well stocked (which is important for this type of unique experience) and decorated very cute. The local people were very friendly and we enjoyed the scenery of the island. « The only positive about this place in my opinion, is its location. The view looking AWAY from the house are wonderful. The house and property are old, dilapidated and not at all maintained. I did not expect it to be a perfect venue, but the photos posted by the property owner DO NOT represent the conditions in and around the house. Not only is in poor repair, it is not kept clean either. There was no trash can or trash bags inside. The trash can on the porch was full of garbage when we arrived....
