« Very pleased with how nice this house was. We chose this location because it was just over the I64 tunnel and we were in town for concerts at the Hampton Coliseum. Really fast and easy to get there and back from the shows each night. Beach chairs and umbrellas were available along with kayaks. House was spacious and well provisioned. « We were very happy to find this huge house, with an elevator, for our family as we were evacuated from Cape Hatteras. However, even if comfortable, a lot of things were missing in the kitchen: small glasses for juice and kids, small plates for breakfast, light over the stove (in a microwave over the stove but not functioning so it was very dark when cooking mostly at night); a lot of pans where used and scratched. « The house was ok. The oven didn't work. I texted the landlord, and she offered me a pizza. (That i would've paid for upfront and they reimburse after our stay was completed. Nice location, but not so good communication. »

« Check in was great after i got the right cottage (4 on the property.)very quaint, very sparce o. The amenities... extra trash can & maybe a table lamp in the living room. 1 brite overhead light! The view and location and convienience certainley make up for other short commings. My daughter , grand daughter & I had a wonderful visit »

« The house was perfect! It had everything we needed and then some. It was spacious and very clean. It has a beautiful deck/balcony off of the upstairs bedrooms that were so nice in the morning. The owners are so nice and very prompt in responding to you. We had an electrical issue, but they responded quickly and got it fixed. The place has lots of outdoor equipment available for use, bicycles, kayaks, etc. The pier and the water are nice, however, Highway 64 is right in your backyard. It...

« The house was exactly as listed. It was beautiful and cozy. The communication was quick and very polite. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I wouldn't book again! »

« Great stay, the house is very conveniently located (50 feet to the beach, 0.5 mile to a Harris Teeter). There's some beach stuff (chairs, a beach cart, an umbrella, a few body boards). A few things to consider when renting this house:1. Bring a few knives. The ones that are there are super dull2. Bring spices, sugar, and salt 3. There's no AC in the smaller bedroom. « We enjoyed this amazing house and property. We got to explore the neighborhood walk across the street to one of the main beaches. Also went to the Virginia zoo and a dolphin sightseeing adventure. We got to eat at the ocean view pier restaurant and enjoy our own cooking of meals. It was a fantastic vacation and we will definitely be back. Thank you for everything. »

« The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood and is a 3 to 5 minute walk to the beach. The beach was never crowded and clean. The house was very cleaned and well maintained. »

« Perfection! A quiet home with lots of space for a family celebration of our daughters college graduation. »

« Comfortable overall including beds. Nice view from most rooms. Enough dinning/kitchen space for our group of 7. Back porch/ deck was a plus. The only issue was, the upstairs tub had been repaired and was a little weird but did not leak and when hanging a face cloth on the towel rack, it fell of the wall as if had been previously glued. We all still enjoyed our stay. »

« Cute older beach house. Clean, comfortable. Steps away from the beach made this stay fantastic. On the down side- the deck is in unsafe condition as the planks are buckling and causes major tripping hazard. Outside furniture is really rusted and one chair fell apart when sat in. There was an end table put in the kitchen ( no sure why as it clearly did not belong in kitchen) made sitting at the table tight. »

« Pictures were accurate for the "apartment" that was listed as a stand alone house. Playground for dogs was not fenced in by gates. Water access and pier listed was non existent. Pier/deck over water was once standing however, now all the boards are on the shoreline/beach area. Loose boards with nails piled on shoreline. Parking is TIGHT and only 4 very tight spots for vehciles. 1 parking spot is used by owner who lives upstairs of the apartments. I have pictures if needed. »
