« I was delighted, upon entering, at all the lovely additional touches I found--from a variety of cozy pullow and throws, warming candles, exotic teas and coffees, snacks and chocolates, muffins and popcorn, and all the way to farm-fresh eggs! I happen to have run into the host and hostess at different times duribg my stay, and appreciated their dining, hiking and sight-seeing suggestions. Most especially, Kevin and Brie are genuinely friendly, caring (especially to this single, female traveler)...

« I was so happy with this guesthouse. It was perfect for our family of 5! Hostess and host were extremely welcoming and attentive to all of our needs. Additionally, it was one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed!The amenities were top notch with a pack n play, high chair, washer/dryer (huge plus for us!), and thoughtfully equipped kitchen and bathroom. We weren’t missing anything and honestly felt right at home. »

« The house served our purpose well. They beds were comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The back porch and grounds could use a little TLC but that didn’t stop us from enjoying ourselves. It was very close to all the attractions near Cortez. »

« Overall we enjoyed our stay here. However several unexpected issues arose. I did speak to the rental management agency and he did quickly help with a couple issues (step ladder, as cupboards are for taller people than I am; and oil for the squeaky doors), and said he would notify the owner about others. We did meet the owner - friendly guy. So, instead of a lower rating, I am rating 4 stars, on the assumption that some/many of the issues will be corrected. -the unit is on the 2nd floor,...
