« This is a small property but for us was perfect, 3 adults. Extremely clean, well stocked. House was comfortable. Owner was super with communications and found us an excellent fishing guide that I would highly recommend - New River Gorge Outfitters. The home was close to Pipestem State park and an hour or so from main hiking trails near Fayetteville. Staying in Hinton was perfect for us. Not a lot of restaurants so be sure to bring groceries. There is a Kroger not too far away but we didn't go...

« My group consisted of 2 married couples and 1 single guy. A motorcycle event out of Gearhead Junction in Pembroke brought us to Newport. The cottage was perfect for our group. Plenty of space for privacy as well as gathering to socialize. On Saturday I had planned to visit a few local shops but instead stayed on the farm and enjoyed the peace and serenity. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard and fenced/escape proof front porch. Thank you for sharing your lovely mountain cottage. »

« We were in WV for a family reunion and were so excited to find a place that was within our budget and close to the reunion. We were even more pleased when we arrived and saw things. From the location and layout to its cleanliness and amenities - everything was great. Check-in was seamless and the property owner was super responsive and helpful. We liked it so much we’re considering another - longer - trip this fall! »

« This place is very relaxing. It is completely void of the usual traffic sounds and people from the houses around me. If you want a secluded trip, this is the trip for you. We saw deer everyday, multiple times a day while we were there. We were lucky enough to even see a bear. The creek was my favorite part. I definitely recommend! »

« This is by fair one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. Place is clean and everything is there that you need to just relax and enjoy your time. Beds are comfortable, plenty of space for 5 people to enjoy with room to spare. We will definitely be back! Property manager was also so friendly and helpful. « This exquisite property was the perfect gathering space for our family as we attended a wedding. The rooms were plush and comfortable- amazing mattresses!! The small galley kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, with a tray of freshly baked breakfast bread from our hosts. Just a short walk from downtown Lewisburg and all that it has to offer. Ample parking. Absolutely a 5 star experience. Thanks to Rachel for the thorough communication. »

« We really enjoyed this location this year, we have stayed at others before, but this one is by far the nicest. Beds are all comfortable, and the location is good for fishing Walker Creek and the New River. And the local friendly dog came every evening to hang out. He loves Hot dogs! »
