« I grew up coming up to this lake. My family owned a small log cabin across the cove. It is heart warming to know that there are still a handfull of cozy, knotty-pine paneled cabins here like the one I grew up in. This place was completely charming — big stone fireplace, beamed ceilings with skylights, large deck overlooking the water, lots of windows for natural light. « Our family of three adults, one teenager, one 9-year-old, and a dog, spent a fabulous week at this lovely home. So much to do at the pristine, quiet lake. We loved the variety of small craft to choose from, and were delighted to watch our dog learn to swim. We grandparents are in our early 70s, and had no problem navigating the short path to the lake, or to walk into the water at the shallow sandy shore. « We had an absolutely amazing time at this truly special place. First off it was perfectly clean .. pristine. Secondly, it was so private. The pond was perfect for swimming and boating. « This home was the perfect retreat for us to enjoy a long weekend in Gilford. The open layout made it easy to remain engaged with your companions while in the kitchen/dining room/living room. The kitchen was spacious and functional and made it easy to prep both meals for home and picnics to bring on adventures. The large deck was a great place for coffee and conversation, and the spacious bedrooms were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay! »

« From the moment we entered the room smelled horrible. Even after spraying the room with disinfectant it still smelled entering each time. We had to open the sliding glass door to air out the room every time. The curtain appeared to have mold on it.The coffee table was not clean. We needed to clean it upon arrival.
