« Very responsive host, and a cute clean home! Others have mentioned the large floor heating vent. While a little inconvenient, this didn’t bother me at all, just adds to the charm of an older (but nicely renovated) house. My dog navigated around it fine and seemed to give it a wide berth intuitively, so that was not an issue. The large fenced yard was great, and I would definitely stay here again if ever in the area! »

« Property was clean and spacious. Although the National Park was closed due to the shutdown, we still were able to do many things. The Bridge Walk was great, as was the Exhibition Mining Company. Having trains come by was interesting, and pretty neat. »

« Beautiful property! The view of the mountains through the big windows was breathtaking! There is a 2nd cabin right next door and then multiple camp sites to pitch tents so not as secluded as we thought but not many people were there and those that were, were quiet. It can sleep 8 but only 1 bathroom, which was a little challenging for even the 4 of us. Also, we missed not having a full length mirror. « All amenities exceeded our expectations, Property was clean and completely outfitted with everything one could ask for. Our host was extremely attentive and welcoming, I high recommend this property for anyone making an extended stay in the Beckley WV area. We are looking forward to our next stay. Only one thing that I would mention for improvement is that the pumpkin spice air scent from the air freshener was way to strong. »

« The house was beautiful and super cozy for our large group. We really enjoyed ourselves. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. Kitchen was very well stocked. The only thing I would have liked to have more of is a few cozy blankets in the family room and bedrooms. Other than that, wonderful place!! »
