« This is a great house to rent if you are looking to ride the Spearhead Pocahontas trail or the Pocahontas Hatfield-McCoy trail. The Spearhead trail is right across the road and the Pocahontas HM connector is about a 10-15 min ride away on pavement. The home itself was very clean & roomy and had everything we needed. « Our trip was wonderful, but staying at CJ and Mitch’s beautiful property made it truly unforgettable. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, and the mountain views from the back porch are breathtaking. My dad especially loved spending time with their sweet dogs and donkeys—it became one of the highlights of our trip. « We felt right at home here in between logging high mileage hiking days on the Appalachian Trail nearby. We were able to cook and do laundry, and rest well. Laura was a kind and responsive host. The house has plenty of room for a group to spread out. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the cows and birds! The sun porch was perfect in the afternoons after hiking. »

« We enjoyed our stay. Very clean, well supplied in kitchen. The host was immediately available and communicated well. We had our dog with us. The yard is large and a good place to walk around. The 50’s theme and all the personal touches made it feel like home. It’s conveniently close to I77 if you’re traveling. »
