« For those who don't know the area, get used to egg smell of water. Thankfully, it's fine. Jist the smell. Fridge has filtered water and ice. Flys were bad this year (Aug 2026), but didn't stop us from the beautiful night sky, campfire, and absolute quietness of the space. Milky Way on point!! Look up at night! Totally worth it! Enjoy the deer roaming the acres. Enjoy the pure quiet. Linens were provided and space is perfect. We loved the kitchen, dining, living, bed spaces. Bathrooms are great....

« The cottage was exactly what we expected. Our host Nan and Lyle were amazing. They were there when we arrived showed us around and gave us many ideas of places to visit and explore . Which we did! I highly recommend a trip to Jamestown. It is truly beautiful country, with lots of wonderful hiking areas with some history involved. Plenty of other history. A must see and stay! »

« Clean, private and wonderful location to enjoy breakfast, dinner or just relaxing on back patio watching the skyline and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. Great communication with the owner, very kind and responsive. Would return next time we are in the area. »
