« Everything was perfect. We took a trip with five baseball dads and seven 13 year-olds and everyone had a blast. From a bonfire in the backyard to sitting around watching football together, to fishing at Lake Shelbyville, and especially the indoor gym area. The owners are also extremely nice and helpful. 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend. »

« We loved our stay. David was such a generous host. We had a unique situation where we were in town for a family emergency. David was kind, empathetic, flexible, generous and accommodating. We can’t thank him enough. We will be visiting Decatur again over the next few years and hope to stay on this property. It is really close to Millikin University which was a huge bonus. »

« I am an advid traveler, and I enjoy all types of lodging accommodations. However, this property was not presented as described. I never received check-in instructions nor the code to access the property even though the information was requested days before my arrival. « Our 3-night stay in Shelbyville was absolutely amazing! The house was stunning— It’s even more beautiful in person than the pictures show. Beautifully maintained, comfortable, and truly the best in town. Everything was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly prepared for our visit. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. « Listing did not match the description. Home smelt terrible of smoke. Carpet, couch and property was very unclean. Standing water in the basement that made the house smell even more. Only 4 clean towels for 3 people and 3 nights. Only 1 extra blanket. No hand towel for bathroom. We had to purchase toilet paper as there was less than 1 roll. Door would not lock shut unless we pulled up on the entire door and held it up while it locked. Had to purchase cleaning supplies to make it so we could stay....

"A notre arrivée il n y avait plus de chambre non fumeur malgré la réservation non fumeur. Apres négociation on nous en a finalement trouvé une, mais c était pareil. Une odeur insoutenable dans la chambre délabrée. Lit propre . Petit déjeuner leger."
