« The location is perfect - right on Lake Superior. Sitting by the lake with morning coffee and evening wine & campfire was very peaceful. Place is just as described, which fit our (and our dog’s) needs. We did not find the highway in front of place was an issue at all. Great base camp for exploring Tahquamenon Falls S.P. and the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum, which is fascinating. We agree the Wheelhouse Diner is best place to eat. Host was quick to respond to my questions, as well. »

« The place was clean; the box fan was much appreciated to put in the window and cool the room; and the microwave, fridge, toaster, and coffee maker received a lot of use in our room. The room has been painted since the pictures were taken. There are also a couple pictures in the listing that belong to another room, which was deceptive. « Nice quiet location shared with other renters apartments. Was nice to be able to do laundry after 5 days in an off grid cabin. Place was clean and comfortable. Only down side was no A/C they did have fans in the rooms to help circulate the air and was able to open some of the windows at night to cool it down. Some windows hand cranks did not work. »

« We had a great experience at the Loft. We are a family of 4: Mom, dad, & 2 kids (10 & 6). The loft was small but very efficient and just big enough for everyone to spread out & relax a bit. I love to sit outdoors in the mornings & a glider bench & patio chair were provided. Our kids loved the decor & overall "vibe" of the place.
