« Our Thanksgiving stay was wonderful. We had 9 adults and a 12 year old and we had more than enough space. The farm is amazing and there is a whole mountain right outside the front door! Wow! The creek was a lovely bonus. As remote.as we were the wifi was perfect and the home was equipped with everything we needed and more, even a few things for our dog. « The old farmhouse has a lot of character, clearly having been added onto multiple times. While quirky inside it is a very nice accommodation with a modern kitchen and spacious bedrooms. The property was clean, well stocked with towels and had very nice linens on the beds. « From hiking through the blue ridge tunnel, canoeing down the Jackson river with Alleghany Outfitters, attending a jamboree in Floyd, visiting a local bee sanctuary, or running into local pie shops like Woodruffs, we traveled all over the area and had sooo much fun.
