« The cottage was so beautiful! Warm & inviting, the decor was well put together with love and care. Shelly thought of everything, we needed for nothing. I forgot my shampoo, and she had a wonderful selection of shampoo, conditioner, & body wash for us to choose from, it was the good stuff too, ha! Plenty of towels, blankets, & linens. « We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The bed was comfortable. The surroundings were peaceful. The cottage was very clean. And the hosts were top notch, there to help without being intrusive. We look forward to returning in the future and seeing this wonderful property and family again. on a side note, we were there for a local dog show but it would be a fabulous retreat for a city family wanting to enjoy the farm lifestyle »

« Loved every minute vacationing at the Guest House "Holly Hill" in Charles City, VA! The Saltwater Pool was extremely luxurious and relaxing! Even though we had quite a few days of rain, the sun still came out long enough for us to swim in the pool! The two new managers Justin and Charles were very nice and helpful. This was their first year managing the property and they did an excellent job! Was sad that Steve Rula, Jr has retired and we missed not seeing his smiling face! Wish Steve the best...
