« The location and layout of the house are lovely. The pool is great. We were very excited and hopeful for our trip when we arrived at the house. When we arrived there were lots of dead bugs in the house: flies, mosquitos, cockroach, centipede and beetles. We also found rat poop under the kitchen sink. My mom thought she saw a rodent running through the house the first night but wasn't certain as she caught it out of the corner of her eye. On the fourth night, there was a millipede in my kids'...

« Nice stay, nice views. Location is great right by the public path down to a great beach in front of the One Hotel. The unit itself could use a refresh on furniture, and a couple basics supplied in the kitchen (cooking oil and salt/pepper). The chairs, umbrella, and beach towels were a nice addition. »

The only areas for improvement would be more clarity and accuracy of the bedroom setup on the online listing and slight improvement in cleanliness. « This house was the perfect place to stay on Kauai! In a nice quiet community with a grocery store within walking distance (we discovered Poke bowls at Foodland our last day there, don’t wait if you like Japanese food). The wrap around porch is beautiful and was perfect for the few rainy days we had because we could still eat, play games, and visit outside. « This was my family's 2nd stay at Wade Home. The layout of the house is perfect for multiple familes to share. The beach is right outside of the front door and the view from the main room is unbelievably beautiful. The kitchen is well appointed and we also used the outside barbecue. The house is 10 minutes away from Hanalei and Princeville for restaurants and shopping. The only drawback is that the house is not air conditioned, so a few of the bedrooms get pretty hot.
