« Winding driveway with limited turn around space can be very challenging especially in the dark. Garage entrance and stairs to living quarters are not ideal. It’s not a bad house but probably would not be on my list of places I would go back to rent again. It was pet friendly and that was the primary reason I chose plus proximity to another house we rented for family with no pets. »

« We loved the house! Many windows looking out to the forest, lots of space for the whole family and we really enjoyed our stay. The reason for 4 stars was the hot tub lid was old and didn’t work well, microwave above the stove doesn’t work but we didn’t realize it until we tried to use it (then saw the small replacement one on the counter), oven smelled when we turned it on because it isn’t clean, and a few other small things. « What an excellent Easter stay for my Siblings and kids. 17 total and plenty of space. Beautifully decorated and lots to do on the property. Gorgeous views (when it wasn't raining), kind of forget you're actually in Illinois. Ranch Joe was wonderful giving us the "lay of the land"!! Outstanding Lodge for a big group of folks. Would definitely stay here again.Owner Mark was a breeze to work with. »
