« We had a great stay at Hillandale! It was a perfect spot for gathering family in town for our son’s wedding. It was clean, comfortable and very well stocked. There were lovely extras like snack baskets and fresh flowers in every room and extra toiletries in the bathrooms. A highlight was the beautiful outdoor space and setting. The house is an old farmhouse that has been added on to over the years which makes for long windy hallways upstairs and lots of hidden staircases. We loved it. Do note...

« I have contacted customer service about my stay. Unfortunately the property was not located where the VRBO listing indicated. I don’t know if this was a VRBO error or the property owner. I performed a VRBO search for Leesburg, Virginia- this property was listed as 6.1 miles from Leesburg, VA. That is not accurate- at least not driving. « The property is well located. The room was reasonably comfortable and the host provided some nice conveniences such as picnic plates and cutlery. On the downside, you WILL hear any night owl neighbors in the unit upstairs. Also, the flooring level change as you approach the bathroom is a bit of a tripping hazard. »

« Our famiy spent a long weekend here because it is conveniently located near my daughter's wedding at Riverside on the Potomac. We were able to conveniently accommodate several extended family members traveling in from outside the area. Everyone was impressed with the house. It is beautfil inside and out. It is very spacious and has a lot of nice amenities, with a large kitchen. Would highly recommend for anyone staying near Riverside, Lucketts, or just looking for a nice getaway. »

When I brought to the owners attention was assured it was the correct info and that the internet it temporarily down. Again it never became accessible. »
