Access was easy and the owner was very accommodating. breakfast food provided in the room, which was a nice touch. 10 minute walk into town down a steep hill but there were also a couple nice restaurants very close and the AT conservancy office is right across the street. »

While not located in the heart of the historic district, it’s a short walk away. Quite honestly, it’s better than being in the heart anyway - more quiet and easier parking. There is a fantastic bar just behind the house, and Snallygasters (best restaurant in town) is next door. »
