« This cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Nice lake, no skiers, great deck, good beds, good pier, all the kitchen hardware you could need and just a cute, cozy atmosphere about the whole thing. If I had one negative thing to say it would be that the owner requires you take your garbage with you. I REALLY don’t like added requirements put on me after I get there. Put it in the listing. »

« This place was amazing - everythng we could have ever needed and wanted. Super clean and organized - they literally thought of everything. Towels are all folded neatly, drawers are all organized, they provide shampoo and conditioner and soap - literally everything! Will definitely stay again next year if the race series comes back to Ironwood! Thanks so much for making our weekend the best!! »

« Amazing place a close distance to Powderhorn, Indian Head, and Black Jack. We stayed the week of new years and the place was clean and charming with comfortable beds. We tend to ski, eat, and sleep on our annual trip to the UP for NYE so the well appointed kitchen was great. They even had a crockpot for turning our left over Christmas ham into New Years day split pea. Communication was excellent we highly suggest the little slice of heaven. »

« We had a nice stay at the Campfire Lodge. It had everything we needed for our stay. We felt comfortable and cozy all weekend and enjoyed the hot tub while watching the snow fall. Very close to the slopes and no issues arose with the property. »

« Easy check-in process, however, I suggest you screenshot the door code prior to arrival because you might not have cell signal when you arrive at the property. We simply drove 1/4 mile and got signal & screenshot the door codes. Cabin was very clean and had what we needed for the time we were there. The host is super friendly & answers promptly to messages. We had a great stay with our two kids. »

« This was a beautiful property. I was a little surprised to find the living quarters upstairs and the bedrooms down with the cute but a little tricky sprial staircase. But I found it beautiful and well cared for and well stocked. The host answered all of my questions quickly. I appreciate having such a lovely place to stay while I hiked. »

« Very nice chalet. It was close to both Ironwood and Bessemer and the upstairs living area was very nicely decorated. Loved all the trees all around the property and saw deer walking through the backyard. We visited during the summer and had the windows open at night. Heard the bullfrogs out in the back! Loved this chalet! Will definitely book this again when we are in the area! »
