« Came for the view, and didn't disappoint! The house was clean and comfortable. We swam and fished off the dock. The only drawback was lack of some back was the lack of some kitchen equipment. »

« Cute place. It’s half of a duplex. Furnishings are nice. Bath is small but nice. No counter space tho. Bathroom door is a barn door style…little privacy. Kitchen has everything you need but there are no cabinets…just shelves. Dishes and glasses were in a basket. Not what you might expect. Keurig coffee maker…brought my own pods luckily TV and WiFi work great. Didn’t use the hot tub…its placement just outside of the entryway is odd, but makes a little more sense when you see it. « The outdoor property is very pretty, about 10 acres, lawn kept, I would see deer there every other day. The house is older and is need of updates, but it suited my needs. The house has no central air, but the 3 window units kept it cool enough, though it necessitated the use of a fan to keep the bathroom floor from getting slick when weather was very humid outside. The host, Claudia was very nice and always communicates promptly. »

« My husband and I stayed for a few days between Christmas and New Years. Although the weather was not ideal, we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation! The rooms were very comfortable and spacious, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking the delicious local produce, and the bathroom was luxurious. Everyone we met was extremely friendly and we loved learning about the farm. We would look forward to staying here again or visiting the other BNB location at Smith Mountain. « We travel throughout the summer looking for new areas to boat, and by far - our new favorite lake is SML. The place we stayed was excellent for our needs and our boating life. If we could give this place more than 5 stars, we would. »

« Cherry Creek Cabin is tastefully renovated and appropriately appointed. It is quiet, private, and conveniently located a few minutes from Meadows of Dan. The space is small but efficient. We were able to cook a nice Thanksgiving dinner in the kitchen as it was well-outfitted with the equipment needed. « We had a great stay in this cottage. It was perfect for 2 people. They had supplies you always forget to pack including shampoo/conditioner! The best part was having good coffee from a keurig!! It was hands down much better than a hotel and waking up in the wooded area and seeing deers in the morning was so great! Communication was quick with owners as well! Thank you!! If we are ever in that area again, I would absolutely stay again. 🙂 »
