« This place is a scam. As soon as we booked I got an email from the "company" saying there was an issue with my payment and to rebook and they would refund the original booking. The payment had already cleared my account. The customer service was absolutely horrible. Needless to say we stayed elsewhere. Never ever book this place. »

« Enjoyed our stay at the Cottage on the Shenandoah River. Easy access to main highway and centrally located. Enjoyed our hikes on Skyline Drive during the morning and then went paddle boarding in the evening. House was very clean and the host was responsive if you had any questions. Would highly recommend this the cottage. The fire at night was a plus! »

« Our book club had our annual reading retreat here and it was a lovely time! The property was perfect for a weekend of cozy reading, group dinners, and movie nights. Hosts were super accommodating, providing a lot of extra cleaning supplies like soap and paper towels. On our trip, groups were able to explore the caverns, a lavender farm, and the arboretum! Overall, it was a lovely trip and we are so grateful we got the chance to stay! »

« The house overall was good. The upkeep could have been a lot better. There are a few boards on the floor that are coming up. There is a brick that is loose in the family room. In the hallway bathroom, the rack on the wall is broken(a screw is missing) It did feel like the house(inside and outside) was not professionally cleaned in awhile. We came across a few spider webs and spiders in a few corners of the house. We couldn't really enjoy the outside scenery because there were spider webs...

« The property was very clean , and is in a great location. Communication about rental, and checking in and out was very good. The bathroom door seems not to be hinged very well, but overall the house suited our needs and we enjoyed our stay . »
