« Very nice clean, eclectic place with great amenities. Paula is a great host, tentative when we had questions. It was cold and windy by the lake, but there was plenty to do inside (games, sauna, TV, etc.) on a snowy winter day. Enjoyed having a fire in fireplace in the sunroom watching outside nature. We hope to return to enjoy all that is offered when it's warmer. »

« Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! « We recently had a really enjoyable family Thanksgiving at this home and stayed here for a few days. It was just the getaway we needed and was a very peaceful visit. It was very comfortable inside with a ton of character, and a nice “grandparents cabin” feel to it, but with some modern upgrades. The property was great for our son and dog to freely run around in, and we took a nice walk along the nearby wooded trail that follows a nearby creek that can take you right into the national forest.My...
