« Expected to be able to use the ferry for a shorter travel to Mammoth Caves, but due to flooding it seems that won't be available any time soon, so the time from the cabin to the visitor center was over half an hour. BUT worth everything!!! Did not mind the extra driving, cabin was beautiful, clean and extremely comfortable. Loved every minute!!! »

« Almost Heaven is a beautiful, fully equipped cabin on an amazing property. So comfortable and the setting is lovely. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the property's pond and hiking trails. We absolutely loved the animals near the cabin, enjoyed being able to feed them, and the greeting from the resident pup. It would be paradise for children! »

« This little place was exactly as advertised. Some nice charm to it!Like most little houses, don't expect much privacy from your travel mates, so unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy the fire pit, but the hot tub was nice to relax in at the end of the day. If your neighbors are out at their fire pit during your stay, you'll likely want to give them a wave since it's rather close. Think of it like camping! Overall a very nice piece of property and great place to call home while visiting sites in...

« Very nice! Quiet location. Beautiful property! We would definitely return! We loved the fire pit at night making smores. Air conditioner was amazing! Loved that it was pet friendly and we even had a neighbors dog visit us a few times. Washer and dryer on site very handy! Had a little trouble getting hot tub to heat up but it was prob because we didn't know how to operate it lol! 10/10! Recommend! »

« Mike thank u for hosting. Great week and weather. Really enjoyed the rental. As disclosed the single BR had us on a schedule but no issues! Lower level access challenging for mobility impaired with stairs. Mike met us on Saturday and gave some Great tips about lake conditions. View without comparison. Well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Lots Of space. We fish so did not use TV or Wi fi. Would rent with Mike again and Plan too make this place our new annual gathering place. »

« It’s nice and tucked back in some beautiful trees. The place was clean and pretty much exactly what we were looking for. The only drawback is as a very firm master suite mattress, but some folks love that! The communication with the hosts was fantastic and they did a pretty good job of leaving instructions for things. I’d stay here again. »

« Spacious and beautiful. We had plenty of room to play, eat, and sleep. Lots of board games and a couple of puzzles. I took my five children and had plenty of space for everyone to have their own area to play. My 12 year old absolutely loved the nook and took it as his own. They loved all of the peekaboo doors as well. I loved how easy it was to find everything I needed to cook our meals. During our stay we went to Mammoth Cave and Lost River Cave. But, if you plan a trip to the Lost River Cave...
