« We had a great stay at Hillandale! It was a perfect spot for gathering family in town for our son’s wedding. It was clean, comfortable and very well stocked. There were lovely extras like snack baskets and fresh flowers in every room and extra toiletries in the bathrooms. A highlight was the beautiful outdoor space and setting. « Sarah is a lovely host. We had a hiccup on the day of our arrival (before our arrival) with a potential issue that would have compromised our stay. Sarah contacted us, was up front with the potential issue, had already contacted a contractor, and had already looked to see if alternative accommodation was available to us. « The property is well located. The room was reasonably comfortable and the host provided some nice conveniences such as picnic plates and cutlery. On the downside, you WILL hear any night owl neighbors in the unit upstairs. Also, the flooring level change as you approach the bathroom is a bit of a tripping hazard. »
