« We travel throughout the summer looking for new areas to boat, and by far - our new favorite lake is SML. The place we stayed was excellent for our needs and our boating life. If we could give this place more than 5 stars, we would. »

« We had THE BEST time staying at the lake house. I only wish we could have stayed a little longer! The house is cozy, open concept kitchen/dining/living so great community space for family/friends. The zero entry into the lake and the deck are just a dream. The weather was perfect, we brought floats and just floated around and layed around the deck a majority of the day. « Had a small issue with the master bedroom, however the host was quick to offer solutions. Everything else was great…huge yard with dog disposal, inside had pretty much everything you need and other reviewers all commented on it. Super close to the Triple Crown hikes. If I had to nitpick? More blinds or curtains for increased privacy. Otherwise, really great property and host! »

« Very clean, comfortable, quiet - host very communicative. This was exactly what we needed to serve as a landing spot for our weekend visiting Virginia Tech. Truly appreciated all of the little extras - water bottles and fresh eggs in the fridge, USB ports in the outlets, plenty of towels, fresh baked sweet bread treat and a nice note from the owners. Will absolutely look here next time we are coming down to Blacksburg! »
