« Felicia, the host went above and beyond to assure we had everything we needed and more. This is a wonderful and well-appointed retreat in the country. We enjoyed ambling around the property, communing with the chickens, and letting all our cares fade to the background. We took a quick trip into Winnsboro, which was a very sweet little town with unique shops. « Winnsboro Lake Retreat was very relaxing. The interior of the house was spotless. Every we needed and more was at our disposal. Beds were comfortable and the view out at the lake was great. We were a little disappointed that the dock was not usable. We were not informed before our stay about this condition and we should have been. We did not swim as the area looked unsafe to be in the water. Overall our stay was very nice. »
