« The pictures are much better than what is actually there. “Cottage” is nothing more than a decorated garden shed. We got to the property after a 16 hr drive and found a place I wouldn’t let my dog stay in. “Cottage” had a bad smell that hit you as soon as you open the door. It is tucked behind a boat storage shed, and is over 100’ feet away from the detached house with the bathroom. We were sent out a “welcome letter” that states to remove shoes, and any cleaning needed after the stay would cost...

« The location is lovely, cute towns around to do meandering shopping. Loved the view & screened in porch, and the comfy LR furniture. The bedroom with 4 bunks is a bit crowded, but for smaller kids probably fine. We were not there in 'hot' weather so did not get a chance to experience all the toys but looks so fun! Hosts were kind and accommodating. »

« Kitchen sink area was quite dirty. It was also advertised to have two full bathrooms. The master bath toilet had a note on it to not defecate in it or it might clog. I asked the owner how close was the electric to the dock for my boat, he told me 20 feet. It was about 100 feet from where the boat is docked and I had to go get another extension cord to be able to reach.
