« I would like to be more positive but this has not been a good experience. I cannot recommend this home.1. The host neglected to send me home access info until I requested it, 4 hours prior to arrival.2. We stopped for groceries before we arrived, when I opened the refrigerator to put away our food, it looked clean but there was a terrible odor. « If you want to be VERY close to DC but also have the ability to relax in a wooded setting, this place can’t be beat. A week of sightseeing in DC can be overwhelming. The location of this rental gives you an opportunity to take a break and walk the C&O canal, hike in Great Falls Park or do some wallet damage at Tyson’s Mall. Nestled in the woods, the house is very clean with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for relaxing. »

« The house was clean and the beds, showers and towels were all comfortable. The house is smaller than it appears in the photos. The kitchen supplies are minimal (no measuring tools, no baking sheets, spatula). Also there is only one tv in the living room, none in the bedrooms. It was easy to find even in the dark. As a place to sleep while making daytrips it is fine, as a place to hangout and visit with friends, it needs a few more amenities. »

« My family and I recently stayed at this beautiful home in Springfield, Virginia and it exceeded our expectations. Perfect location.
