« Waking up to the rising sun on the Bay was spectacular. So peaceful and rejuvenating. Make sure you checkout out Calvert Cliffs State Park too. You’ll get a workout on the multiple trails and a beautiful shoreline at the end to find some natural treasures!! Sunshine Cottage was well equipped and clean as a whistle. Beds were amazingly comfortable too. Hosts Rhett and Kay couldn’t be more responsive to inquiries. Overall great experience and would recommend for a lovely getaway. Thank you!! ...

« Beautiful scene. Sunrise on the beach is perfect. Loved the low waves. Was easy to swim. The home was so cute! They were FULLY stocked. Anything that you think you may need and it’s there. The bed was squishy comfy. Even when we stayed inside, we had a gorgeous view from the sunroom. The neighbors were super friendly. The host was very responsive and extremely nice! Will definitely return to this little paradise! »

« The cottage was perfect for a quick getaway weekend. Very clean and accommodating We were there for the Waterfowl Festival which was easy to get to from the cottage. Enjoyed the views and Jack our lab enjoyed the space to run The host was quick to answer any questions Would definitely rent again. Thank you »

« Very cute..but very tiny and super dated. Duplex. Not entire house to self. ..through a door is other people....noise Porch, yard firepit and views great! Steps to house steep. No handrails. Careful. No access to beach....all grown up grass weeds trees.. No deck/dock as described on property.pic is next door... Very disappointed. Water pressure in sink very very low. No kitchen. Didnt state it did. But just beware . The views. Quit was nice. But thats bout it . . »

« No complaints. The owners make a lot of efforts to make your stay pleasant, like a closet with extra batteries, sunscreen, etc. Kitchen has a lot of extras like 3 different types of coffee makers. The views are amazing and its nice to have a bit of lawn to walk the dogs around. »

« We had an absolutely lovely stay with Rob and Clarissa! The property was beautiful and family friendly. Our son loved the attic / children’s nook and the beds and bedrooms were all very comfortable. The kitchen, sitting areas, etc were all accommodated for and pleasant. We loved roasting marshmallows by the fire pit and sitting out by the water or the dock. Rob and Clarissa were truly gracious hosts, making our whole group (including a 5-year old, several folks with mobility challenges, and...

« Beautiful, private setting, but not far from the town of St. Michaels. House was very clean and beds were comfy. The kitchen was very well equipped for preparing meals. We really enjoyed relaxing in the screened in porch and on the Adirondack chairs overlooking the water. There was so much wildlife to view: bald eagles, herons, tree frogs, crabs…We had a great time! Thank you! »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The Maghee House was bright, well appointed, up-to-date and very comfortable. We rented the home because it was on the water and had a nice dock to launch our kayaks. The area on Harris Creek was beautiful for kayaking. It would have been nice to have some empty cabinet space in the kitchen for our food items and some shelving in the primary bath for toiletries.We would definitely stay at the Maghee House again! »
