« The house was perfect for our stay, and we loved it. Very convenient location to downtown and the finish area of Historic Bridge Marathon. We appreciated the cleanliness of the house, lots of pillows, blankets towels - if needed. Beds were comfortable. Loved the history of 1850 T. Blade house. Although the furniture suited the era, a couple of pieces should be replaced or restored. I saw previous reviews for concerns of floorboard safety in upstairs bedroom, again realizing it's an 1850 house....

« We had a wonderful stay at this property. My daughter/husband set up this weekend away for my birthday and it couldn't have worked out better. The fireplaces were cozy in the evening and great for sitting by with our morning coffee. We enjoyed playing games on the screened in porch. « This was a beautiful weekend getaway. My wife and I had a lovely time relaxing before we welcomed our second child. The house is a small quaint cottage, and we loved waking up to the sunrise and birds chirping.
