« What an adorable cottage with a great view. »

« The view is unbeatable, the host is nice. He and the cabin are eccentric. The problem was that the cabin required instructions in how to operate the electronics - the a/c, the fireplace, the lights - everything. And he was gracious to want to meet with us and explain it all, but after a 6 hour drive and health issues, we did not want to socialize and only wanted to rest. But it turns out that it was very necessary to get his explanations about it all! I think if we had known beforehand...

« Not as seen in photos! Pics make the place seem like a cute little themed cottage with plenty of natural light and tasteful decorations. The place was cramped and overdone with stuff, had towels and other non-curtain fabric hanging on windows. Had an overpowering scent of mildew. Everything we took into the house smells terrible now and has to be washed ASAP. »

« This is our second stay at Chestnut Oaks & we will be back. The back porch is our favorite place. It’s so quiet & peaceful. It feels like you’re in a treehouse. We relaxed after going to see the waterfalls at DeSoto State Park & Little River Canyon. The cottage was very clean & the bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable. Susan is a great host! Thank you!! We will see you soon!! »

« I was blown away by how clean this cabin is. It must be really new or just kept extremely clean. I was let down with the view,, I was thinking more over looking the valley or maybe more secluded, but over all. Very nice place to stay. »

« The Burrow (The Weasley house). This was just the cutest little house! If you are a Harry Potter fan, you have to stay here. The attention to detail was incredible and the host was so nice. Description in the listing was spot on. Clean, quaint and comfy. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the Chattanooga area. »
