« We enjoyed a couples weekend with my siblings. The house was so nice and what a beautiful location. We would love to stay sometime in the summer. Beautiful views of black river. The downstairs area was very cold and the electric heater couldn’t handle keeping the temperature comfortable downstairs. However, when we were there it was like zero degrees outside so it was understandable. The house was clean and had everything you need in it. »

« We were very unhappy with this property. Owners are not accommodating at all. We had a 4:00pm event and asked for an hour earlier check in so we could clean up after our long drive to make our event in time and they refused. The price per night is a lot for the excessive rules. No visitors, no this no that and cameras all over making you very uncomfortable as you’re being spied on all the time. « The cabin was GORGEOUS with an impressive and appreciated amount of amenities. The Game Room was a nice touch. Spotlessly clean throughout the property. Clint was very friendly and responsive. They had a member of their team come by, plow the driveway, and shovel the sidewalks/backyard patio area so we could easily access the hot tub after the heavy snow. Would’ve loved to stay here longer, will definitely plan a return trip if we’re in the area again. Thank you! »

« What a nightmare to find. The idea that we had to go to Days Inn was strange. They drew a map for us to find the place. Gave us the wrong info that lead us to a dead end. Then we finally found it after talking to several people. House was not secure. The back door would not close. Smelled like mold in all the rooms. The furniture was replaced with outdated Days Inn furniture. Not the same decor or furniture in the pictures. We were deceived. Eerie feeling being in that home. »

« The property was in an excellent location. Steps from the Indian River and restaurants and shops. Kitchen was roomy. Beds were comfortable. The outside of the property needs some TLC. Same with the inside. There was no WiFi available even though they left the WiFi address. So no TV and poor reception. There were cobwebs inside. « Not the fault of the home owner but the excessive rain the river flooded the back yard. The river was pretty fast moving and we were not able to enjoy a camp fire or outdoor activities. There is a bit of a musty smell in the little cabin and also in the room with the twin beds. Again this could be from all the rain and standing water. I liked the open concept. « Great cottage that suited our need for the week! Plenty of sleeping space and wonderful that it has 2.5 bathrooms! Dish towels were missing, but delivered as soon as we inquired. All inquiries were answered promptly. Not quite as clean as I prefer, but very suitable for an up north cottage stay. (cupboards were dusty with sticky pots and pans and serving bowls and utensils and the window sills/doorways had lots of dead bugs) All in all a great place though! »
