We had seven people staying there and family over to visit, as well and it was plenty big enough for everyone to mingle and not feel on top of each other. « Very charming cabin at the end of a quiet street. We saw lots of deer and turkey while sitting on the porch. The cool mountain air was so enjoyable this time of year. All the windows had screens so we could keep them open. Close to downtown Banner Elk restaurants and everything we came to do on Sugar Mountain. Would recommend. Perfect for kids, ours really liked the game machine. »

« This property is absolutely lovely. The cabin is updated and cozy, bathroom was sparkling and the kitchen had everything you’d need to cook meals there. The bed is comfortable and the loft area is very nice. The rain on the metal roof at night? Chef’s kiss. There are AC window units that worked beautifully, and the whole cabin stayed a very comfortable temperature. Evenings are cool at that elevation, even in July. « Very nice stay overall! Had a little hiccup at the beginning with check-in details/ communication but was able to get it resolved an hour before check-in. The house was very, very clean. While an older house, it was well maintained and great location! Thanks for the stay! »

« We had such a wonderful time! Amazing house. Super well equipped: plenty of dishes and silverware, every possible kitchen appliance (including pressure cookers, blenders, and bread maker!), towels for the pool and hot tub, etc. The owner was very attentive, sending a couple of messages to check in with us while we were there. We loved the hiking, fire pit, and the pool! Check out the vineyard right down the street! We cannot wait to come back! »
