« The old farmhouse has a lot of character, clearly having been added onto multiple times. While quirky inside it is a very nice accommodation with a modern kitchen and spacious bedrooms. The property was clean, well stocked with towels and had very nice linens on the beds. « The Country Farmhouse was a place of rustic charm and tranquility. All you hear is the sound of the breeze, the cows, birds, and the brook. Our visit to the area exposed us to both history and agriculture. The farmhouse certainly further illustrated that. All the work done to refresh this home years back has kept it's original luster. « From hiking through the blue ridge tunnel, canoeing down the Jackson river with Alleghany Outfitters, attending a jamboree in Floyd, visiting a local bee sanctuary, or running into local pie shops like Woodruffs, we traveled all over the area and had sooo much fun.
