« Our daughter’s wedding was in Waverly. This house was perfect for us and our kids and their spouses and littles. Great location, spacious and beautiful home. »

« Two couples on our 70's stayed for two nights in June. Communication was great, .with Diana andwering all of our detailed questions. Checkin was easy. The facility and setting was as described: clean, very well supplied and charming. Our favorite feature was the shaded patio overlooking the Shell Rock river. The deck above was not as impressive. A steakhouse and pub are witin easy walking distance. A walking path along the river leads to a nice park and war memorial. Some of us attended water...

« We stayed here June 2-6, 2025 during our kids' sports competition. The house has everything you need for your stay. It was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The backyard by the river is awesome for relaxing and grilling after a long day at the field. The kids loved the game room upstairs to unwind. The upstairs rooms had portable ac units in each room so you could set the temp to your preference. Plenty of room for our family of 4 one teenager and one almost teenager. Could easily...

« We had a wonderful day! It was a lovely March day in the 70s and we spent the afternoon outside on the picnic table watching the river and all the birds!! The house and the grounds are lovely. I’d highly recommend it to anyone. »

« If you are looking for a nice place to stay in New Hampton, this house fits the bill. The house was clean, well maintained, and well equipped for our weekend stay. It is an older home that has been redone, but still has a lot of charm (think wooden built-ins, etc.). We would stay here again. »

« Loved the location. So close to amusement park, water park, mini golf, go carts, as well casino and more! For having neighbors around it was very peaceful and quiet. The deck in back overlooks cute pond that you can catch little fish in! (None were keepers but for grandma and the kids this was the best!) Bedrooms very clean and presentable. TVs in every bedroom as well. Easy check in and check out and communication with host very good. If every in Waterloo with the family would return...

The view overlooking the Cedar River is mesmerizing with lots of wildlife and gorgeous sunsets. Cedar Falls is about five minutes away with lots of great shops and a variety of places to eat. »
