« The cottage was stocked fully and with many extras. Very clean on the inside and served for a nice weekend. The yard is tricky because of it being on a slope so when walking the dog can be stressful if a deer or squirrel appear. »

« Nice, well kept and easy to communicate with host/ owners. Would recommend! »

« Gwen’s cottage was exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful cozy home away from home. The check-in process was super easy. It was close to McConnells Mills. Beautiful country roads all around. Easily accessible to rt 79. We would love to go back to see all the upgrades the owner is in the process of doing around the property. The nearby creek was beautiful as well. It was a peaceful stay and we appreciate Gwen’s hospitality. »

« Very clean property with plenty of room. One small bathroom upstairs with a bath/shower.Good location and it was easy to get to most destinations. Lots of steps..4 to get in to the house and 13 to get upstairs to the bedrooms and bathroom. Steps could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues. No ice maker in the fridge, and some old fashioned ice trays would have been nice. Beds were comfy and all the linens were pristine. Washer and dryer in basement were easy to use. Needed an extension...

« Great house, excellent location. Decently quiet area. Only downsides: the refrigerator did not have work. The owner stopped by twice in a day. And a neighbor visited. Other than that it was a perfect getaway spot. Highly recommend. »

« I wasn’t thrilled the rental was on a second floor when I had my dogs. Pets, unfortunately, tend to move freely and I thought the guests on the first floor below us may have been annoyed with that. I also didn’t like having to haul our luggage up many stairs, including heavy video equipment I brought with me for this scheduled trip to attend an event.
