« The house was the perfect unplug get away. There was no TV so my husband I spent our nights playing cards and talking...so wonderful. The campers to the south were quiet and respectful and we took turns using the expansive shoreline with our pups. »

« We had an amazing stay. The property offers a beautiful scenery of the lake. Many activities were less than an hour away. My favorite part was watching my children have fun kayaking and making a fire. It was so relaxing »

« Cozy, clean and welcoming. A private beach is just steps from the back door at this amazing lake home. Be sure to have your camera close by for amazing and picturesque snapshots! Loons, Eagles, Merganser ducks, geese, Nuthatches, Flickers, foggy mornings, colorful sunsets and the ever changing water of the lake make for a nature lover’s paradise. Bring your groceries for meals and stay in, you won’t want to leave. We’ll be back! »

« Cute cabin in a great location. Easy drive into Houghton/Hancock. Keewenaw and Porcupine Mountains close for day trip hiking and sightseeing. View of the lake invites you to stay and relax at the house. Owners very responsive via app message, text, or call! Would definitely stay again. »

« Roose's Roost was the perfect home base for our UP adventures! The house was immaculately clean, well maintained, and outfitted with all of the items to make it feel like home. The deck was amazing- we enjoyed the swinging chair and the gas firepit especially. The lake was beautiful and deep enough to jump off the end of the dock. Our hosts were very helpful and easy to get in touch with. If we ever travel back to the UP, we would definitely book Roose's Roost again! »
