« There's several gates to get to Box 3, which makes it a little daunting to get through when you're coming back from a long day. I wish it had been noted that there was no central heat or air. The space heaters tripped the circuit breaker our first night, but they were quick to address it and comped us a day for the hassle, which was very considerate. « The house was great. I just wish that the living room ceiling fans had a switch/pull to leave the fan on but turn the light off. Also, beware of the scorpions! Since the area is so dry, they are out more. »

« My wife and I had a great stay at this beautifully remote property, about 15 minutes outside the town of Leakey. Inside, the accommodations were roomy and open and well appointed. Outside, the location offered great views of the hill country surroundings. Evening overcast kept us from enjoying what would have been amazing night skies, but we did enjoy birding from the back deck throughout the day. « This is a nice home and is well-kept. The washing machine is an x-large top loader, so be sure someone has arms long enough to reach the bottom. The kitchen is large, and there is plenty of seating for ten people to eat or lounge in the living spaces. The pool table was a hit with the family. The down sides to this residence is that there is one entrance/exit, so to access anything in the backyard including the entrance to the game room, you have to walk around. « This stay was amazing. So quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed sitting outside in the cool hill country weather. Loved that there are cows with new calves running around. Also enjoyed the morning wake up by the rooster on property. This property was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this little piece of heaven to anyone. »

« Absolutely gorgeous country decor and the house and properly are beautiful! The porch is large with fans and lighting to relax outdoors. The beds are a little high if you are short or have mobility issues. The bar is a great place to relax and listen to the cows moo! I will definitely be back! »
