« We loved our stay at The Springs Retreat in Leakey! The two-bedroom cabin was beautiful inside, very well furnished, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The property is immaculate — the pool area and creek access are amazing, and the grounds are kept in spotless condition. Communication with the hosts was excellent. Overall, a wonderful and relaxing stay — highly recommended! »

« We loved our stay at Whiskey Mountain! The cabin was just what we needed and the perfect getaway for our time there. Having a kitchen for home cooked meals and drinking coffee on the porch while watching the sunrise made the weekend extra special. The cabin was close to things too, like restaurants, the market, and awesome things to check out. If I’m ever back this way I will definitely be checking into whiskey mountain again! Thank you! »

« Everything was great. However there is no TV so be prepared to spend that day outside or bring board games. Not much to do at night. We were gone during the day everyday but would have been nice to watch at night. Also if you plan on cooking they have everything but seasoning youll want to bring that with you. Id suggest brining food as closest HEB or groc store is 1hr 15min away. They have a nice waterhole to check out outdoor games for kids. We went end of June and was hot but had nice breeze...

« This property is fantastic and we could not have hoped for better hosts. Derek and Lauren are kind, gracious, and very responsive! There was more than enough room for our group and could have easily accomodated 4 times the size of our group comfortably. The pool and hot tub were great for a nice, relaxing stay. Situated in a quiet cul du sac, close to a quaint little country store which more than met our needs, and still provided the quiet seclusion we were hoping for a quiet, relaxing weekend....
