« The property was close to the Spooky Nook Complex which was convenient for our travel. As mentioned in other reviews the stairs to the upper level had narrow steps so caution was needed. The hosts were amazing with communication and promptness and helped us when we accidentally left an item in the home. I would recommend this home. »

« We stayed here 2 nights for an early Thanksgiving Weekend with our family of 6 adults and 4 children. The house is in a wooded setting and was large enough to accommodate our group without feeling crowded. It was very clean and communication was good. Check-in was easy and internet was good. There is no TV so we brought one and a Roku and we were able to stream programs. The kitchen was well supplied with some basic spices and coffee. Additional dishes and silverware would be nice...

Like much of Richmond, IL, this house was many decades past its prime, witnessed by the broken car parked out front and the 70's apartment complex that overlooks its backyard. The home has tons of space and some beautiful original features, but you have to balance them with the broken, mismatched thrift store furniture, the challenging lack of outlets/strangely placed switches and dusty old curtains some on broken...
