« Great little cabin for a quiet getaway. Host was super and responded to messages almost instantly. Was having hard time keeping fireplace going so we sent host message asking about some more seasoned wood which they responded AND had some wood delivered in 15 minutes. Cabin leaves nothing to want as it is well supplied and easy to find everything with little notes everywhere to help make your stay a real pleasure. Hoping to book again in the spring or summer to visit waterfalls in the area....

« Thank you for a great couple days in your cottage! We loved being able to sit on the porch and enjoy the fire table and watch the geese enjoy the lake. Friends joined us for Christmas day. We were hoping to hike, but the weather had other plans, so we hunkered down and played cards on the porch, and had a lovely dinner. « Perfect cozy cabin for staying with the kids and dog over the holiday and for getting some cold weather fishing in as well!! We planned a retreat style get away to do jigsaw puzzles and leisurely cast hooks—my kids’ favorite activities while we went nearby for Thanksgiving dinner. We loved hiking to Burgess Falls so conveniently and had the best time visiting local diners for easy meals. Loved that this property can accommodate a fisherman so well! And definitely plan to request a stay again...

« What a magical place to stay! With an amazing view of the river from the front porch to our lovely neighbor, we lovingly named Mr. Ed (a beautiful white horse), it was one of the most relaxing times! They had even decorated the entrance of the property! If you need a quiet place to stay away from all the noise I definitely recommend! We also just loved the small town of Gainesboro everyone was so welcoming! Only about 10 minutes from the cabin. »
