« Wonderful hidden gem! It was a perfect jumping off spot for a wedding weekend. Very close to Early Mountain Vineyards and other local attractions. Host was helpful in recommending a yummy spot to grab lunch. The Mad Pepper had a great burger, and Yoder’s Market isn’t to be missed! The cottage had all you could possibly need for a quick get away. »

« The place is small but very cozy. It was perfect for our short getaway with the pets. It’s not often you find somewhere you can bring three dogs so that was a huge plus as we can rarely travel with our dogs. It’s very much an old building but they’ve made it super cute and the bed is extremely comfortable. We loved staying here and plan to book it for other visits home! »

« We came for two nights to escape NOVA for a bit with our kids and dog and it was so lovely! We started with lunch and wine at the Tasting Room and it was delicious, the staff was extremely welcoming and attentive, and the decor and grounds were really cute. Guy let us check in early as the house was ready and it was so gorgeously decorated. It really felt like a home, not a sterile rental. Our family didn’t want to leave. « The Plainfield Cottage is a perfect getaway. We came in for a graduation and were quite busy. However, each time I stepped into the cottage, it felt peaceful, bright and clean. A great retreat to unwind and relax at. Cathy was very attentive on any needs we needed, as there were few because it was well stocked. »

« Was a little bumpy getting into the rental but wires got crossed so no one’s fault. The owner was very nice and a big help getting me in! The back yard is huge and the short hiking trail was great. My dog also became friends with a frog that showed up in the front yard everyday. Ha »
