We spent a day at Louisville Zoo, visited Clifty Falls State Park, and did some shopping and lunch in Downtowj Madison. It’s a great area for a familyvacation! « The place was beautiful and well kept. Reasonably remote, you'll hear some lawnmowers but you won't see a neighbor unless you're actively trying to. Saw a lot of wildlife, rabbits, deer, butterflies. Electric, AC and gas were reliable and worked great. Wood stove looked so cozy, almost wish we didn't come during a heat wave so we could have enjoyed it. Wifi is spotty, so don't forget your LotR box set like I did, but to me thats more of a bonus amenity then a requirement for a remote...

« This is a sweet cabin. Clean and lot's of room. Enjoyed the back deck and view. Nice walking path in the back. Loved feeding the two horses (Izzy and Annie). Great property host, Katheryn. We enjoyed the visit to the Ark and the Big Bone Lick National Park. Just overall a great time and a beautiful cabin with everything one would need. »

« Cool cabin, beautiful views. Everything was as expected aside from the basement was redone (which was nicer than photos) but the pool table was no longer there. They had some shuffle board weird pool table. Like others we had an issue getting the door unlocked but the key box was easy to use. I wouldn’t let these small issues deter from your stay, overall great place, great host. »
